A
vital shot to practice.
It is rare that perfect position is maintained during the course
of a break.
Often, for a break to continue the blue will require potting in
one of the four corner pockets.
Under
normal conditions many players can pot, or come close to making
the shot. In matches however, this shot tests the cueing of the
majority of snooker players.
The ability to pot the long blue regularly in all corners will
increase the size of breaks you can make.
The
white can often be controlled to remain in the centre of the table,
making the next visit or shot in the break so much easier.
