fcsnooker - How is a Snooker Table made and what component parts are used in a Snooker tables construction?

Selected hardwoods are sourced and cut to generic sizes - Slates mined in quarries to the relevant table size

Untreated hardwoods, kiln dried in industrial bonding and drying ovens - Additional raw materials sourced.


Table legs turned and shaped to the required design or style.

Table wood cut into smaller sections, bonded and pressed - Work undertaken to reduce moisture content in solid hardwood.

Table cushion rails cut to size, planed and sanded.

Once sanded and prepared table sections are then lacquered by hand or in a spray booth.

Table parts number stamped to match woods and lacquers - Sanded and re-lacquered for the desired finish.

Lacquered parts hung and placed in the drying oven - Left to dry on racks.

Cloth sourced from the weaving mill - Appropriate colour fitted to the cushion rails.

Finished Products - Professionally packed in readiness for delivery.

To order a newly manufactured snooker or pool table a 10% deposit will be required to book into the fcsnooker order book. Deposit payments are non-refundable should any table order be cancelled. Final remittance payments payable after the table is fully installed and all products and services have been completed.
